Mr Prolly gave me the heads up about these guys and I am glad he did ...... Search and State make very lovely cycling apparel all hand made from NYC , and is quite beautifully put together they do very small runs and their ethos is quite simple

Rapha shoes

So like most of you I was curious to see what all the fuss was about
Rapha kindly sent me a set to try out they arrived in this very lovely display box each shoe with its very own cloth bag and a little book explaining the ins and outs .
So over the next week I am going to give them a whirl.... So don't believe the hype just yet .

The Amstel Gold Race

Without the orange Amstel, the world of the classics would be incomplete.
Though Holland's great race took many years to find its proper place and course,it now leads off Ardennes Week in April.

Melbourne Ironman

A few of us went down to watch our good friend and Team Mate Stu compete in the Melbourne Ironman
yesterday , we had a great spot to watch from thanks to our new Team Sponsors Giant Bikes who had set up a 1km from the finish and the atmosphere was fantastic .
Good , Bad and Ugly is how I would describe some of those Tri outfits but my hat goes off to them for entering and finishing such a massive event
Stu came through our area to a massive cheer and a little good natured abuse still looking the goods and finished in 9 hours 23 mins .....
