A time to remember and forget...

"Do not measure your loss by itself; if you do, it will seem intolerable; but if you will take all human affairs into account you will find that some comfort is to be derived from them."

I lost a mate...

Everyone use to say to me " you know Richard don't you , he's into the old stuff like you "
Richard ran a bicycle store called Open Road Cycles he did it for the love not the money , he loved his bikes and he loved riding them.
Richard would pop down to visit me most Tuesday's we would grab a coffee and sit on the bench outside the shop in the morning sun chatting about how cool old steel road bikes were....I enjoyed those little get togethers
Richard was diagnosed with cancer less than 2 months ago and passed away yesterday.
Life is so shit and it just makes you realize how fragile the whole thing is.
I will miss him
Rest in Peace

Don't forget that feeling....

"A large volume of adventures may be grasped within this little span of life, by him who interests his heart in everything."

Moving forward...

"Above all things let us never forget that mankind constitutes one great brotherhood; all born to encounter suffering and sorrow, and therefore bound to sympathize with each other."

Frosted Window

"Art is the window to man's soul. Without it, he would never be able to see beyond his immediate world; nor could the world see the man within."

Icy blue winter

"There are days when solitude is a heady wine that intoxicates you with freedom, others when it is a bitter tonic, and still others when it is a poison that makes you beat your head against the wall."
